Fort Worth is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Fort Worth is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Very calming and peaceful. Id loved to live closer so I could come draw, or even read often. There were lots of people out and about... but you could barely hear anyone talking. Everyone just enjoying the views.

My family really enjoyed the Japanese section of the botanical garden. That section alone was worth going. My kids got to feed the Koi. They come swimming like little sharks at the sight of people. It's very peaceful & transports you to a different place & time. Very beautiful, would go again.

This place is way more better and beautiful than Dallas Arburetum. This is properly maintained like a Japanese way, scenery is like you are in Japan. Very nice place to show tourists and hood for picnic. Relaxing and very clean. Lots of amazing plants, flowers and tress. Something that a Fort Worther will be proud of. Highly recommended for tourists spot.

The Japanese Garden is beautiful and stunning, and it's my favorite place to take pictures in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden; there are bridges that cross the pond and such a beautiful variety of trees and plants. Visitors can feed the koi in the pond, and there are turtles that swim there and lay in the sun. We witnessed a bride and groom this afternoon and thought it was a desirable, picturesque venue for an outdoor wedding. I hoped to see the Sakura in bloom, but I only noticed one tree with fading flowers, so it may be too late for cherry blossom season. Spring is my favorite time for vibrant colors in the Japanese Garden, and I'll return soon.

This is part of the Fort Worth Botanical garden. It's been a favorite of mine for years and years. It has water throughout it and giant koi fish. Lovely vegetation. A yin and yang overlook. A beautiful bridge that has been used by brides for evocative, romantic pictures for years. It is a tranquil, green, lovely setting. My only complaint is that it does need some maintenance work. I hope that the city decides to spend some money on it soon.
